Golf, taught as a whole game.

Structured clinics that teach the technique, how to carry yourself on the course and the culture of the game, with our own book, training guide and app.

Three things, taught together

Most lessons stop at the swing. Every Prentis clinic works on all three at once, so you are at home on a course, not only on a range.

  1. A Prentis Golf coach in a branded cap and polo turning through a swing on a sunny practice range

    The technique

Grip, posture, swing, short game, direction, distance and putting, built up step by step.

  2. A Prentis Golf ball on a sunny fairway with trees behind

How you carry yourself on the course

Basic rules, etiquette, the vocabulary you will hear, a pre-shot routine and simple strategy.

  3. A line of Prentis Golf students in white caps and polos practicing chip shots on a tree-lined course

    The culture of golf

The protocol for sharing the game socially, with family and in business, where many relationships start.

The Prentis Circuit

Our own method divides golf into short stations, each guided by a coach, so you work the whole game in one session. Whether you are holding a club for the first time or you already play, you learn fast and enjoy every minute.

  1. Long game

Full swings in the simulator, with the data of every shot on screen: distance, direction, contact.

  2. Short game

Approaches around the green, the shots that save the most strokes.

  3. Putting

Reading the line and the pace on the putting green, often as a challenge between classmates.

What a class looks like

Each clinic connects the why, the practice and your progress.

  1. The book Golf for life by Blanca L. Vázquez

    Understand

    Theory first

You start with the why: the chapter of Golf for life behind the day’s clinic. You take notes in your training guide so the fundamentals stick.

  2. A Prentis Golf coach kneeling with the training guide in hand, adjusting a student’s grip on the club

    Practice

    Practice with your coach

You apply it in the hitting bays and short game areas, with your coach beside you and the data of every shot on screen. Grip, posture, then controlled swings.

  3. The Prentis Golf training guide, with its Spanish-language cover

    Progress

    See your progress

At the end of the clinic you fill in the results sheet with your coach: what to improve and what to remember before next time.

The training guide

A workbook that walks with you

Sixty pages that follow the course clinic by clinic: the theory of the day, the practice, and a results sheet you fill in with your coach before you leave.

  1. Theory and practiceWhat the clinic covered, in your own words.
  2. Clubs usedWhich clubs you hit and when.
  3. DistancesHow far each club went today, so you can watch it grow.
  4. Coach’s recommendationThe one thing your coach wants you to focus on.
  5. What to improveThe habit to work on before next class.
  6. What to rememberThe cue that worked, so you do not lose it.

Your course, on your phone

SAP Golf is the software of the Prentis academy. Every student gets access from day one, on a phone or a computer, so the course does not stop when the clinic ends.

The SAP Golf home screen on a phone: the next clinic date, a row of clinic cards with the next one locked, and the clinic to review next
Screens from the student app, in Spanish, shown with sample data.

Not just a bucket of balls

Many golf lessons start and end at the range. Ours follow a method, so you learn the game, not only the swing.

A typical lesson

  • Show up and hit balls
  • Quick tips on your swing, one at a time
  • Rules and etiquette left for later
  • Little record of what you worked on

The Prentis method

  • Theory first, from our own book, Golf for life
  • Grip, posture and swing built step by step in structured clinics
  • Rules, etiquette and the values of the game from day one
  • A training guide that records your progress and your coach’s notes
